VEHICLE INFORMATION RECEPTION FAILURE
(DTC CODE P0610 / DIAGNOSIS MONITOR CODE 2)

1. Check that DTC codes U1001 and U110A are not indicated besides P0610.

 

1. Check a chassis No. stored in the engine ECU and re-programming server.
   

   Standard: The same chassis No. must be stored in both the engine ECU and the re-programming server.

NO Reprogram in the vehicle control ECU replacement mode.	YES Proceed to [3] Checking installed ECU and engine

1. Check whether there is a history of installation of the engine ECU and engine to other vehicles in the past.
   

   Standard: There must be a history of having been installed to other vehicles.

NO Fault in engine ECU	YES Check that diagnosis codes are not output when the starter key is set to the "LOCK" position and then "ON" position after deletion of past malfunctions.

1. Confirm the DTC P0610 is inactive

   • Start the engine and let it idling condition.
   • Verify the DTC P0610 is inactive.

   

2. DTC Clear

   • Clear the DTC with Hino DX
   • Confirm the same DTC is not reoccurred

   

P0610 is reoccur: Return to first process Other DTC appear: Refer to concerned Trouble shooting
