---===S7-LDXE01A-0100_0001.djvu===--- FOREWORD This workshop manual was written to be able to make people with intermediate level of knowledge understand well the system when working with the HINO-DX and HINO-RM. It is possible for the HINO-DX (HINO Diagnostic eXplorer) to read failure information from the ECU of the system which has generated abnormalities, to display the failure-diagnosis procedure about the failure information, and to specify the failure part. Moreover, it is possible not only to read failure information, but also to read the recognition value of the various sensors needed when the ECU controls the system, the actuator control state, system construction, etc. from ECU, and to express as a numerical value or graphics. Furthermore, HINO-DX also makes it possible to change the setting of each system. In other words, the HINO-DX was developed as an adjustment tool of the ECU at large, and by understanding the structure and using correctly, you can fix the electronic-control system of Hino products appropriately and quickly. In HINO-RM (HINO Reprog Manager), since an engine control program can be written into an empty ECU, the kind of ECU to keep can be made dramatically few. Furthermore, when update data is released by manufacturer, without exchanging ECUs but by reprogramming by HINO- RM, you can correspond timely and consider the environment without producing waste. All information and specifications in this manual are based upon the latest product information available at the time of print- ing. Hino Motors reserves the right to make changes at any time without prior notice. ---===S7-LDXE01A-0100_0002.djvu===--- CHAPTER REFERENCES REGARDING THIS WORKSHOP MANUAL Use this chart to the appropriate chapter numbers for servicing your particular vehicle.
