The PTO solenoid becomes ON and the PTO operates by the PTO operation signal from the transmission control computer ASSY. In case of a wire break in this PTO solenoid system, the transmission control computer ASSY puts out a diagnostic code.

Detail
- Set the ignition switch to ON.
- Check the voltage between the terminals of the transmission control computer ASSY.
Standard:

Inspect and replace the transmission control computer ASSY.
Proceed to [2]INSPECT WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION CONTROL COMPUTER ASSY - PTO SOLENOID)

- Inspect insulation
- Disconnect connector B of the transmission control computer ASSY and the connector of the PTO solenoid.
- Check the insulation between the connector on the wire harness side of the transmission control computer ASSY and body earth. (Refer to page for the terminal layout.)

Repair or replace wire harness and connector.

Detail
- Check the resistance between terminal 1 (B) and body earth.

46-54Ω (20°C, 68°F)
Replace the PTO solenoid.
Inspect and replace the transmission control computer ASSY.
Detail
- Confirm the DTC P1911/51 is inactive
- Start the engine and let it idling condition.
- Verify the DTC P1911/51 is inactive.
- DTC Clear
- Clear the DTC with Hino DX
- Confirm the same DTC is not reoccurred
- P1911/51 is reoccurF Return to first process
