Expand AllThe PTO solenoid becomes ON and the PTO operates by the PTO operation signal from the transmission control computer ASSY. In case of a wire break in this PTO solenoid system, the transmission control computer ASSY puts out a diagnostic code.

There is not diagnostic code detection for a wire break of the PTO solenoid system.
Detail
- Set the ignition switch to ON.
- Check the voltage between the terminals of the transmission control computer ASSY.
Standard:
Terminal No. (terminal symbol) Voltage [V] B10 (POS) ↔ B8 (GND1) 12-32
Inspect and replace the transmission control computer ASSY.
Proceed to [2]INSPECT WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION CONTROL COMPUTER ASSY - PTO SOLENOID)
- Inspect insulation
- Disconnect connector B of the transmission control computer ASSY and the connector of the PTO solenoid.
- Check the insulation between the connector on the wire harness side of the transmission control computer ASSY and body earth. (Refer to page for the terminal layout.)
Standard:

Repair or replace wire harness and connector.
Proceed to [3]INSPECT PTO SOLENOID BY ITSELF
- Check the resistance between terminal 1 (B) and body earth.
Standard:
46-54Ω (20°C, 68°F)
Replace the PTO solenoid.
Inspect and replace the transmission control computer ASSY.
- Confirm the DTC P1911/51 is inactive
- Start the engine and let it idling condition.
- Verify the DTC P1911/51 is inactive.
- DTC Clear
- Clear the DTC with Hino DX
- Confirm the same DTC is not reoccurred
- P1911/51 is reoccurF Return to first process
- Other DTC appearF Refer to concerned Trouble shooting
