MultiCat - Electronic Parts Catalog
MultiCat is an Electronic Parts Catalog, comprising of a vehicle parts information database and related software package, which enables users to access and retrieve information.
This new Windows 95 product, benefits of all professional experience gathered along the years and combines within itself skills and features, which establish MultiCat as the most accomplished product of it's kind.
As a universal, illustrated interface (visually oriented catalog) for most of the vehicle parts catalogs, MultiCat renders parts number tracing faster and easier then it has ever been.
Based on the original part catalogs of manufacturers, the MultiCat database is the result of the in-depth analysis of the original information. Furthermore, the product possesses built-in cross-reference tables, which link the original part number to the most widely utilized OEM and Aftermarket information.
MultiCat contains about 800-1,500 parts for each model (2,000-15,000 different original part numbers) and between 200-1,000 different Aftermarket part numbers for each model.
MultiCat supports Model Designation Definition (Regional Specifications) and is fully multilingual. Extensive changes have been introduced in release 6/99 of the product:
Addition of labor times, including refinish and damage repair cost calculation.
Integration capability of external information regarding parts and manufacturers not included in the basic MultiCat CD.
The majority of the new features have been added in order to enable the utilization of MultiCat Business, our new product. MultiCat Business's main goal is to allow part manufacturers and dealers to use MultiCat as a convenient platform for creating and distributing their own business catalogs (detailed explanations will be supplied upon demand).
