1.1 Release Notes

The following Release Note document is describing the changes from the last version of the software and the modifications

1.2 Installation Description

The installation of EWA Local is proceeded in the following steps:

  1. Check the system requirements using the operation documentation
  2. Read and print the installation and update quick guide
  3. Install EWA binaries using the installer package
  4. Enter access authorizations into the administrative interface
  5. Install Data DVDs of WIS and / or EPC
  6. Create groups and users for accessing the system

NOTE: If you want to install the central version of EWA (SQL-Server as Backend and/or IBM WebSphere or UDB) please refer to the special documentation for setting up the central environment. This documentation and all needed additional resources are located in the folder "\ewa\central" on the installation media.
