SHORT CIRCUIT OF PRETENSIONER
(DTC CODE B0130 / DIAGNOSIS MONITOR CODE 7)

1. Remove the driver's seat.
2. Remove the bed if so equipped and remove the bar supporting the bottom of the bed.
3. Remove the shift console and parking brake lever console.
4. Remove the scuff plate.
5. Pull up the floor carpet.
6. Remove the seat belt anchor.
7. Turn the starter key to the "LOCK" position, wait for 90 seconds or more, and disconnect the yellow connector of the cab floor.
   
   
   Push in the direction of the arrow to disconnect it.
   
   
8. Using the diagnosis monitor, delete the past malfunction code and then output the present malfunction code again.

   Standard
   Output of diagnosis monitor code 8: Proceed to steps under YES.
   Output of diagnosis monitor code 7: Proceed to steps under NO.

NO SRS airbag ECU or cab main harness abnormality

YES Checking the diagnosis code

1. Turn the starter key to the "LOCK" position, wait for 90 seconds or more, and correctly connect the yellow connector of the cab floor.
   
2. Remove the seat belt tensioner.
3. Pull up the black portion of the yellow connector to unlock and disconnect the yellow connector.
4. Using the diagnosis monitor, delete the past malfunction code and then output the present malfunction code again.

   Standard
   Output of diagnosis monitor code 8: Proceed to steps under YES.
   Output of diagnosis monitor code 7: Proceed to steps under NO.

NO Harness abnormality between cab floor and seat belt tensioner

YES Seat belt tensioner abnormality

1. Confirm the DTC B0130 is inactive

   • Start the engine and let it idling condition.
   • Verify the DTC B0130 is inactive.

   

2. DTC Clear

   • Clear the DTC with Hino DX
   • Confirm the same DTC is not reoccurred

   

B0130 is reoccur: Return to first process Other DTC appear: Refer to concerned Trouble shooting
