ABS Warning Light does not Come ON

1. Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
3. Check that the ABS warning light comes on.
   
   OK: The ABS warning light comes on.
   
   
   If troubleshooting has been carried out according to the Problem Symptoms Table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step before replacing the part (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM)
   　

[2] CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU-COMBINATION METER)

REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the combination meter connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
   
   
   
   Standard voltage
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   S13-6 (WA) - C5-40 (ESC)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   S13-6 (WA) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

[3] INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

1. Reconnect the skid control ECU connector and the combination meter connector.
2. Check the combination meter.
   
   OK: The combination meter is normal.
   
   
   If troubleshooting has been carried out according to the Problem Symptoms Table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step before replacing the part (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE).
