DISCONNECTION OF SOLENOID VALVE SYSTEM FOR INJECTOR 1
(DTC CODE P0201 / DIAGNOSIS MONITOR CODE 61)

1. Set the starter key to the "LOCK" position and connect the signal check harness.
2. Disconnect the signal check harness connectors from the ECU and measure resistance between the terminals as listed below.

NO Go to [3] Measuring resistance between injector terminals.	YES Proceed to [2] Checking of diagnosis code

1. Connect the signal check harness connectors to the ECU and start the engine.
2. Use the HINO-DX to delete past malfunctions and then check a present malfunction.
3. Replace the engine ECU if the same code is output again. If a normal code is output, there may have been some short-lived abnormalities.
   

   

1. Disconnect the injector harness integrated connector from the cylinder head.
2. Measure resistance between the terminals of the injector cluster connector (a male connector to the cylinder head) as listed below.

NO Go to [4] Measuring resistance between injector terminals.	YES Disconnection of vehicle harness (inspect a harness between the ECU and the injector harness integrated connector)

1. Remove the head cover and disconnect an injector connector (from an injector) of a cylinder detected/identified through an indicated diagnosis code.
2. Measure resistance between the 1st and 2nd terminals of the injector connector (component side) .
   

   

   Standard value: 0.210-0.295 Ω (20-70ºC {68-158ºF})

NO Go to [5] Measuring resistance between injector terminals.	YES Irregular contact of connector or harness inside the head cover

1. Remove injector terminal caps for a cylinder identified/indicated by a diagnosis code. Measure resistance between two terminals.
   

   

   Standard value: 0.210-0.295 Ω (20-70ºC {68-158ºF})

NO Disconnected coil in the injector (Replace the injector assembly.)	YES Disconnection of injector harness (replace the injector harness)

1. Confirm the DTC P0201 is inactive

   • Start the engine and let it idling condition.
   • Verify the DTC P0201 is inactive.

   

2. DTC Clear

   • Clear the DTC with Hino DX
   • Confirm the same DTC is not reoccurred

   

P0201 is reoccur: Return to first process Other DTC appear: Refer to concerned Trouble shooting
