The installation of the CDROM or DVD version of ePER
requires a personal computer with the following minimum configuration:
•
Microsoft Windows 98/ME/2000/NT/XP
operating system
•
Minimum memory 64Mb RAM (128Mb
recommended)
•
Hard disk with at least 500
Mb of free space (recommended: 2Gb to allow the
entire database of the DVD to be copied onto the
hard disk, thus increasing the speed of the application)
•
Monitor with a resolution
of at least 800x600 (1024x768 recommended) and
at least 256 colours
•
CD or DVD drive
•
TCP/IP network protocol installed
•
Web browser: Microsoft Internet
Explorer 5.0 or above
To install the program follow these steps:
•
Insert the ePER
CDROM or DVD in the drive.
•
If the computer is configured
to automatically run the CDROM or DVD (autorun),
it will start the ePER
installation program automatically. In this case
follow the instructions which appear on the screen
to complete the installation.
•
If the computer isn’t setup
to automatically run the CDROM/DVD inserted, using
the Windows Explorer program identify the “setup.exe”
program in the root directory of the CDROM/DVD
and run it with a double mouse click. Then follow
the instructions which appear on the screen to
complete the installation
Warning: for some types of print ePER
uses the program Adobe Acrobat Reader. The installation procedure,
if confirmed by the user, will install version 5.05 of Acrobat
Reader but in the English version. If Acrobat Reader is already
installed (version 5.0 or above) say “No” to the installation
request.
